“Regeneration is a returning to the core pattern of humanity. To be regenerative is to align with life as a planetary process.”
About the podcast
Every second of every day, our cells are fed, nourished, and regenerated by the living systems around us - and our presence, in turn, enables other species to thrive. But our current way of living is interfering with these vital processes and undermining the very systems that enable life on this planet.
As communities around the world grapple with the consequences of a climate emergency alongside deep social and economic challenges, there is growing recognition that the dominant ways of thinking that shaped these systems will not lead us toward the futures we need. What is called for is not only new solutions, but a deeper shift in how we understand our place within the living world.
Coming Home to Life is a podcast exploring this shift. Informed by embodied regenerative practice and inspired by the philosophy of deep ecology, the podcast invites listeners to rediscover humanity’s role as a participant in Earth’s living community, rather than a force apart from it.
In conversation with leading thinkers, practitioners, artists, and elders, hosts Dr Daniel Christian Wahl, Josie Warden (Series 1) and Philipa Duthie (Series 2&3) explore how regenerative and life-centred perspectives can help us reimagine learning, culture, communities, and economies, and how deeper changes in understanding can give rise to meaningful action and systemic change. Join us as we explore what it might truly mean to come home to life.
